Humana srca foundation was founded on April 4, 2022, with its headquarters in Belgrade.
The founder of the foundation, Danijela Vasilijević, and the executive director, Nikolina Đujić, had a vision,after many years of work in the public sector, to make that work more visible and direct through more proactive humanitarian action.
Bearing in mind that they are both mothers of three, the decision on the target group, which consists of children and youth, was natural, and so was the desire to help create a happy childhood for all children in Serbia with their work.

Danijela Vasilijević
Founder
Is the founder and manager of the Humana Srca Foundation. She obtained her diploma at the Faculty of Commerce and Banking in Belgrade, and soon continued her education at the Faculty of Political Sciences. Ten years of work in state institutions from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Ministry of the Interior allowed her to learn all aspects of the problems faced by youth, children, women and marginalized groups. He sees his experience and desire to contribute to the healthy development of society, as well as returning to traditional values, through dedicated work at the Foundation.
Nikolina Đujić
Executive director
Is the executive director of the Humana Srca Foundation. After completing her undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Political Sciences, she gained and developed her professional experience through more than a decade of work at the Ministry of Interior. Work on monitoring and implementation of planning documents in the field of human resources management, active involvement in the implementation of policies of equal opportunities and gender equality, as well as the preparation of anti-discrimination documents and training of employees on the aforementioned issues, enabled her to transfer her experience to the affairs and development of the Foundation.


Jelena Petrović
President of the Board of Directors
After completing her basic economic studies at the most prestigious European universities, continued her education in Belgrade, at the International Masters in Quantitative Finance. She built her professional career working in the banking sector, and then in the largest audit firms, where she gained knowledge and perspectives that she now very successfully applies as a financial advisor in the business sector. For Jelena, the position of president of the Foundation's board of directors is not only a demanding obligation, but also a privilege and an honor, which, thanks to her professional work, she will be able to direct towards the fulfillment of the Foundation's goals.
Živana Tešić
Member of the board of directors
Is a member of the board of directors and senior consultant of the Foundation. As a devoted wife, mother and grandmother of five grandchildren, she transferred her love for her family to the rest of society through charity and philanthropic work. She provided the foundation with her immense experience, as well as her desire to preserve traditional family values and national cultural heritage in modern Serbia.


Nebojša Petrović
Member of the board of directors
Is currently the head of a company that deals with wood processing, and which is one of the most successful in Serbia in that field. He reached the mentioned position after a long series of years of professional work and training. After completing economic studies abroad and then post-graduate studies in Belgrade, Nebojša began his professional career in Italy in brokerage and banking companies, and then continued in the same sector in Serbia. He also contributed to society by working in the state sector, in very high positions in the Ministry of Finance, as a financial advisor. He fulfilled his desire for charity by accepting to be part of the Foundation and improve its work with his great knowledge.
TEODORA KLIMENTA
Secretary of the Foundation
Teodora Klimenta is secretary at the Foundation. She graduated from the University of Information and Internet Technologies. During studies, she started running her family’s hostel and through that job she developed her communication and organizational skills and get a developed work ethic. As a young person who has just started her career, she will contribute to the Foundation with her youthful zest and desire to help children and youth overcome to obstacles they face in modern society through her work at the Foundation.


BILJANA BAROŠEVIĆ
Honorary member of the board of directors
Is an assistant minister, head of the Sector for the Protection of Persons with Disabilities in the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs and an honorary member of the Foundation.
She completed graduate and post-graduate studies in law, and additionally trained in security and defense studies and studies in the field of management of EU funds and projects. She was a scholarship recipient of GTZ - the German Organization for Technical Cooperation, as well as the Italian Government, the Ministry of Production Activities of the Republic of Italy. She started her professional development in the Regional Chamber of Commerce of Novi Sad, then followed the JP Elektroprivreda of Serbia, the Ministry of Culture and Information, and since 2017 she has been in the current Ministry. she improved not only the competent Ministry, but the entire system of public administration in dealing with and working with this vulnerable population group, in ensuring their dignity of work and personality. She will contribute to the work of the Foundation with her experience and knowledge in the field of human rights protection and work with marginalized groups, and in terms of improving their position, through the achievement of the Foundation's goals.

Mission
The Foundation's mission is to improve the quality of life of people from vulnerable categories and vulnerable groups by implementing its project activities. Our work is not only based on providing financial and material assistance, but also on providing knowledge and skills, which will contribute to the quality of people's lives and thus ensure the sustainability and long-term implementation of projects.
Goal
The general goal of the Foundation is to promote, protect and improve humanitarian activities, through the provision of all types of assistance to vulnerable categories of society, especially children and young people.
Special goals
- Provision of all types of humanitarian aid to the socially deprived, socially vulnerable and health vulnerable persons
- Improving the work of preschool, school, social, health institutions and other institutions of importance for the life of citizens
- Providing assistance to children, children without parental care and children and adults with special needs
- Awarding and giving scholarships to individuals who contribute to the development of various aspects of society through their work
- Preservation of the traditional values of society through the education of children and adults and the provision of financial assistance to institutions of importance to the lives of citizens
- Contribution to the development of the general standard and provision of all other types of assistance in order to improve the quality of life of people and the environment
